Erica Mancuso has been playing violin for three decades. She holds a Performance Diploma from the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music in the studio of Marie Bérard. She’s performed at Ottawa’s National Arts Centre, Toronto’s Roy Thomson & Koerner Halls, China’s Forbidden City in Tiananmen Square and Germany’s Festsaal Neue Aula in Tübingen. With the Royal Conservatory Orchestra, she performed under the batons of Maestros Peter Oundjian, Yoav Talmi, Uri Mayer, Alain Trudel, Johannes Debus, and Sirs Roger Norrington and Andrew Davis. She was a 2008 National Youth Orchestra member and a 2009 Brott Music Festival apprentice.

Recently, she launched the Sault Symphony Orchestra’s Educational Outreach Coordinator position, funded by a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in French and German from Mount Allison University, class of 2009. She also plays guitar and can be found in her spare time drinking tea or chasing her two little kids around the house.
