It is a very special venue designed to work wonderfully for concerts, films, lectures, business meetings, weddings and special dinners and events of all kinds. The set-up of the room is fully flexible and we have everything that is needed to make your event spectacular.
The Loft is a remarkably unique venue for performance, recording and special events with a capacity of 200 for concerts, 140 for special event dinner settings, and 100 for video screenings. It is located in the historic Algoma Conservatory Building, built in 1901.
The soaring steel trusses, copper clad ceiling, bare brick walls, and heritage hardwood floors create a warm and inviting atmosphere and a natural sounding acoustic experience that has to be heard to be believed. Every performance in this beautiful space leaves the listener feeling as though they are wrapped up in the music like their favourite blanket.
Pristine sound amplification is presented through either our Klipsch Dolby Atmos Surround Sound System, or our QSC professional quality PA system for live performances. Your eyes and ears are in for a real treat.
It is linked to The Live Room of the recording studio through an elegant hallway - and The Live Room doubles as a bar - making the full third floor a unified special event space.
