A graduate of Algoma University with a concentration in music majoring in flute and a minor in piano, as well as a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. In addition she received Suzuki Teacher Certification through study at the Hartt School in Connecticut, Southern Ontario Suzuki Institute in Hamilton and the East Tennessee Suzuki Flute Institute.
