Ah, the tranquility of a winter’s night; a joyous gathering with friends and family; sharing a hot beverage and a treat with a special someone; telling stories by the fire…oh, wait! That sounds like a Cantation Christmas Concert!
Relax and enjoy an evening of Christmas music and sweet treats shared with good friends in a beautiful, comfortable setting with fantastic acoustics at The Loft. Every year, an audience sing-a-long is featured so everyone can join in the singing together. It’s always a hit. And of course, there are Christmas cookies available, as well as a cash bar.
Cantation is a celebration of adult treble voices based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Through camaraderie, we foster a supportive environment for both personal and musical growth. We are about enjoying choral music in many genres, pursuing musical excellence…and having fun!
Choir members include: Elizabeth Alloi, Brenda Butler McTaggart, Alexandra Colak, Sandi Dal Cin, Barbara Gallagher, Leith Harris, Hailey Hayes, Jill McPhee, Jaime Miller, Michele Punch, Sandra Scornaienchi, Calyssa Skeggs.
