From the Tommy Hunter Show - CBC TV Country Music Stars, featuring Donna & LeRoy (Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame) and Whiskey Jack (The Ol’ Back Porch and two Juno nominations).
When Tommy Hunter's show began to lose its audience in the 1970's, he called local singer Donna Ramsay and her husband LeRoy Anderson and asked them to join the cast. For the next 17 years, Donna and LeRoy sang with Tommy weekly and the success of the show was guaranteed. In the 1980's, Soo banjo player Duncan Fremlin and his band Whiskey Jack joined Tommy and Donna on the TV show where they were spotted by Stompin' Tom Connors. Duncan and Whiskey Jack went on to tour and record with Stompin' Tom until he died in 2013. Donna and Duncan bring their new show to the Loft on June 4, 2025.
