After several weeks of touring that included stops in Dubai, Thailand, Taiwan, China and the 2025 Grammy awards in Los Angeles, don’t miss this opportunity to hear celebrated Canadian musician and world renowned flutist Ron Korb, as he adds a stop in the Sault to his very busy world tour itinerary. Ron will team with Frank Deresti, Larry Crowe, Bill Evans, Corinne Turgeon, Edward Turgeon and Algoma University Music Program students, for a variety-packed evening of music by Anne Turgeon, Moe Koffman, Antonin Dvoark and much more, including some of Ron’s ravishing compositions inspired by Europe, Asia and South America!  There’s something for everyone in this variety packed show, as Ron blends Pan-Asian, Jazz, Classical, Celtic an Latin influences acquired through a lifetime of global explorations. He has earned 5 Grammy certificates including 2 last year for his work on Stewart Copeland (The Police) and Ricky Kej’s Grammy-winning album Divine Tides and Masa Takumi’s Grammy winning album for Best Global Music Album.

He has toured in North America, Europe, Central America, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Mainland China and shared stages with Peter Gabriel, Olivia Newton John, Cesaria Evora, Jane Siberry, The Yardbirds, and Liona Boyd. Ron has performed for Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Takamado of Japan, the Dalai Lama, the Princess Bophadevi of Cambodia, Two Canadian Prime Ministers. Ron’s sold out concert at Shanghai Concert Hall was voted the audience choice.  His Asia Beauty album was nominated at the 58th Grammy®Awards.  It also won Best in Show at the Global Music Award, Best Instrumental at the International Acoustic Music Awards, Best World Fusion at the ZMR Awards in New Orleans . He also won The Brand Laureate Award along with actors Keanu Reeves, Andy Serkis and pop singer Adele.  This promises to be a spectacular concert with something for everyone.
